The Shoes prompt was initially one of the most boring ones in this year’s Inktober list, but once you add some werewolf flavor into it, it suddenly becomes rad.
This prompt not only taught me some lessons on using negative imagery but more importantly, it taught me to take something as boring as a shoe and transform it into something more interesting. Instead of a shoe on someone’s foot, I drew a shoe on someone’s foot while they’re turning into a werewolf.
I like this better than my first werewolf-based entry. Less is more, I guess.
